Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand has launched a 24/7 live stream of its two-month-old baby pygmy hippo, Moo Deng, captivating fans worldwide. The zoo earned over 12 million baht from September 1 to 19 due to increased visitation, expecting to surpass 200 million baht from one million visitors by the end of its fiscal year in September 2024. Director Narongwit Chodchoy reported a 50% rise in visitors, with about 44,000 viewers watching live streams on zoodiolive.com on Friday night.

Director Narongwit Chodchoy reported a 50% rise in visitors, highlighting international interest from countries such as Japan, China, and South Korea.
About 44,000 viewers watched the live streams on zoodiolive.com on Friday night.
The zoo accommodates visitors with a queue system for viewing Moo Deng, allowing five minutes per visit.
Additionally, 700 Moo Deng T-shirts were sold at Green Mountain restaurant for 329 baht each, and Moo Deng has even received an invitation to the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix in Florida next year.
