Money20/20 Asia Returns to Thailand for Its Second Iteration

Money20/20 Asia Returns to Thailand for Its Second Iteration

The leading fintech event will gather industry experts and innovators in Bangkok from April 22-24, 2025.
The Money20/20 Asia conference, a premier global fintech event, is set to return to Thailand for the second time after a successful inaugural event last year.

Scheduled to take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok from April 22 to 24, 2025, the event aims to further establish Thailand as a central hub for fintech innovation in Southeast Asia.

Danny Levy, Managing Director of Asia and ANZ for Money20/20, expressed excitement about returning to Bangkok, highlighting the continuous advancements in the fintech sector across the region.

"We are delighted to be back in Bangkok, continuing to build upon the success of Money20/20 Asia in its second year, as the fintech industry evolves and reshapes the financial ecosystem in the region," Levy stated during a press conference held on March 12, 2025.

The conference will emphasize the theme 'Building the Future for Fintech,' featuring notable speakers and industry influencers from around the globe.

Participants can expect discussions focusing on the growth and development of the fintech sector and its implications for Thailand and its neighboring countries.

The event is poised to host over 4,000 attendees and will feature approximately 250 speakers from various fintech organizations, offering unparalleled networking opportunities for industry professionals.

This year marks a significant advancement with the introduction of an AI-hosted format, along with a dedicated relaxation area, Harmony Hub, where attendees can enjoy herbal tea and wellness activities.

A key highlight includes a partnership announcement between Money20/20 Asia and Venture Spark, an accelerator program designed to support early-stage startups.

This collaboration will provide essential mentorship, financial backing, and business opportunities, contributing to the growth of startups in both the Thai market and abroad.

On April 22, a demonstration day will take place from 1 PM to 3 PM, where Thai startups catering to global markets will pitch their businesses to regional and global venture capitalists, industry leaders, and private companies.

The top five performing startups will have the chance to secure investment of up to $50,000 and gain access to a broad network of partners and funding avenues facilitated by the accelerator program.

The return of Money20/20 Asia underscores Thailand's strategic importance and readiness to host world-class fintech events, attracting global fintech firms and reinforcing its position as a leading center for innovation in the region.
