Anutin Inaugurates Road Safety Center for New Year Accident Prevention
Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has inaugurated the Road Safety Operations Center to mitigate accidents during the New Year holiday from December 29 to January 4. This center aims to gather information and lessen road accidents throughout the festive season.
Anutin confirmed the Interior Ministry's readiness, highlighting collaborations with various organizations and a public campaign discouraging drunk driving. The nationwide initiative is based on the understanding that drinkers may not recognize their impairment.
For this year, the center's emphasis isn't on lowering accident statistics but rather on enforcing stringent traffic rules to curb accidents and decrease death tolls.
