Passengers Utilizing Green Line Extensions to Pay Fares Starting January 2nd

Starting January 2, Green Line passengers must pay fares for the extended routes. Students and children with Rabbit cards will pay 10 baht, and seniors will pay 7 baht. The Sukhumvit Line extensions run from Bearing to Samrong, Samrong to Kheha in Samut Prakan, and Ha Yaek Lat Phrao to Khu Khot. The Silom Line extension runs from Pho Nimit to Bang Wa.
Bangkok's deputy governor Wisanu Subsompon announced that fare adjustments will address the 53 billion baht debt to BTSC for operating the Green Line and system upgrades. Although in use for six years, these extensions weren't included in the fare system, where prices start at 17 baht and max out at 62 baht.
