TAT Aims for 3.5 Trillion Baht in Tourism Revenue in 2024
Thapanee highlights collaboration with the Thai Chamber of Commerce to boost 10 secondary cities, building on the notable 73.32 million domestic travels generating 169.608 billion baht over nine months in 2023.
Internationally, TAT is prioritizing sustainable branding, market expansion, collaborations, better transport links, and digital marketing to attract tourists, especially aiming for 8.2 million visitors from China in 2024. Despite this emphasis on China, TAT is also reaching out to tourists from markets such as Malaysia, India, Russia, Taiwan, along with newer markets including Saudi Arabia and other Southeast Asian nations.
