Thailand to Promote Medical and Wellness Tourism at Expo 2025

The country will highlight its healthcare potential at the Thailand Pavilion in Osaka, Japan.
Thailand will showcase its potential as a global medical and wellness hub at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, from April 13 to October 13, according to the Thailand Pavilion organiser.

The pavilion will combine traditional and modern Thai architecture and feature exhibition zones focused on public health, medical institutions, wellness products, and healthy foods.

Visitors will be welcomed by Thailand’s mascot, 'Poomjai,' and can explore displays on natural attractions, local wisdom, herbal remedies, and healthcare innovations.

A theatre presentation will highlight Thailand’s medical advancements, wellness tourism, and investment opportunities in the healthcare sector.

The pavilion will also feature cultural performances to promote Thailand’s soft power.

Public and private sector representatives will host exhibitions and events throughout the seven-month expo, aiming to attract investors and boost medical tourism.

Organisers expect the pavilion to receive 28.2 million visitors, particularly from Japan, China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations.

The event will serve as a platform to strengthen Thailand’s position in the global healthcare industry.
