A Thai female athlete Ploy Bhinsaeng wins Polo championship
Thai athlete Ploy Bhinsaeng clinched victory at the King Power International Ladies’ Polo Tournament 2024, signaling her rise as Asia's top female polo player.
Leading her team, King Power, to a 6-3 win against L’Oreal Paris on March 30, Bhinsaeng showcased her exceptional skills in the tournament's final match.
The event, held from March 28-30 at VS Sports Club and Siam Polo Park in Samut Prakan, Thailand, marked its third occurrence. Competing teams included L’Oreal Paris, Ash Farm Arena Polo, and King Power.
Organized by the Thailand Polo Association, the tournament celebrated its 20th anniversary, aiming to promote women's polo on a global scale.
Bhinsaeng highlighted the tournament's role in elevating women's polo internationally, expressing hope for Thailand to become a major hub in the women's polo world. The event, initiated in 2018, has gained international acclaim, furthering the development of women's polo.
The event attracted notable attendees, including King Power Group's Voramas Srivaddhanaprabha, who kicked off the final match and later awarded the champions.
