AVATR 07 Begins Mass Deliveries in Thailand as Premium EV Expansion Accelerates
Right-hand-drive production of the intelligent electric SUV marks a major step in the brand’s Southeast Asian growth strategy.
Mass deliveries of the AVATR 07 electric sport-utility vehicle have begun in Thailand, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of the premium electric-vehicle brand across Southeast Asia.
The first batch of right-hand-drive AVATR 07 units has rolled off the production line at the company’s manufacturing facility in Chongqing and is being shipped to Thailand, where deliveries to customers are now underway.
The move represents the model’s first overseas rollout and highlights Thailand’s growing importance as a hub for advanced electric mobility in the region.
The AVATR 07 made its international debut in Thailand in late 2025, following the earlier introduction of the AVATR 11 SUV in the country.
With the start of full deliveries, the company aims to strengthen its presence in one of Asia’s most dynamic electric-vehicle markets and meet increasing demand for intelligent, high-performance new-energy vehicles.
Developed by AVATR Technology, a partnership backed by major automotive and technology groups including Changan Automobile, CATL and Huawei, the vehicle combines luxury design with advanced digital capabilities.
The SUV features a next-generation intelligent cockpit environment and advanced driver-assistance systems, including Huawei’s Qiankun ADS platform.
The model is offered in both pure battery-electric and extended-range electric configurations, giving drivers the option of fully electric operation or additional range supported by a compact generator system.
Built on an advanced 800-volt architecture, the vehicle also supports ultra-fast charging technology designed to reduce charging times significantly.
In Thailand, the AVATR 07 enters the mid-size premium electric SUV segment with two variants, including a rear-wheel-drive Max model and a higher-performance all-wheel-drive Ultra version.
Local pricing begins at roughly 1.66 million baht, placing it in the competitive luxury EV category.
Thailand has emerged as a strategic gateway for global electric-vehicle makers seeking to expand into Southeast Asia.
The country has rapidly developed charging infrastructure and supportive policies aimed at accelerating the transition to low-emission transport, encouraging international manufacturers to establish operations and introduce new technologies.
The arrival of the AVATR 07 reflects the continuing transformation of Thailand’s automotive sector as it moves toward electric mobility and advanced intelligent vehicles.
By launching deliveries of a right-hand-drive model specifically tailored to regional markets, the brand is positioning Thailand as a central pillar in its broader international growth strategy.
