Bangkok Shopping Centres Transform for National Children’s Day with Immersive Learning and Play Experiences

Major retail destinations in Bangkok are staging interactive educational and entertainment events to coincide with Thailand’s National Children’s Day on January tenth, 2026
Bangkok’s largest shopping centres are reconfiguring spaces and programming to make National Children’s Day on Saturday, January tenth, 2026, a focal point for imaginative play, learning and family engagement.

Across the capital, developers and retail operators are emphasising interactive, experiential activities designed to blend entertainment with creativity and skills development for children.

One Bangkok will host “Small Oneders Big Futures,” turning its development into an imaginative “City of Ideas” where young visitors can assume the role of “City Makers” and engage with activities that encourage creativity, community participation and future-oriented thinking.

The event runs across January tenth and eleventh and includes a range of playful educational installations and interactive challenges for attendees.

Central Pattana’s nationwide “Central Kid’s Day 2026” campaign will convert Central shopping centres into “Future Skills Playgrounds,” offering workshops and interactive experiences structured around foundational skills such as curiosity, creativity and courage.

These activities are designed to promote hands-on learning and soft skill development through games, creative challenges and themed zones.

MBK Group centres are staging “Kid’s Venture 2026” across multiple locations, featuring interactive game challenges, thematic play areas such as snow-themed adventure zones and sports-oriented activities, free gift giveaways and engagement opportunities for children and families.

Across these venues, children can participate in arts, animation workshops and physical challenges as part of the National Children’s Day celebrations.

The coordinated wave of retail-led events reflects a broader trend in Bangkok’s urban culture to position National Children’s Day as a moment for family-centered community activity and creative, education-infused leisure.

These initiatives are expected to draw considerable family footfall on January tenth, enhancing the city’s calendar of activities for children and their parents.
