Bitkub CEO Discusses Thailand’s Digital Asset Growth at WEF 2025
Jirayut Srupsrisopa highlights Thailand’s role in blockchain innovation and digital asset development at the World Economic Forum.
Jirayut 'Topp' Srupsrisopa, founder and CEO of Bitkub Capital Group Holdings, discussed Thailand’s growing influence in the digital asset and blockchain sectors during his participation at the 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
Speaking at the panel 'Assets: From Concrete to Ether,' Srupsrisopa was joined by financial leaders including Ola Doudin of BitOasis and Jeremy Allaire of Circle Internet Financial.
Srupsrisopa emphasized how Thailand’s progressive government policies and regulatory oversight, particularly by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), position the country as a leader in digital asset innovation.He highlighted advancements in real estate tokenisation, enabling individuals to invest in properties for as little as 10 baht.
Srupsrisopa also introduced Bitkub’s upcoming projects involving carbon credit tokens and 'Green Tokens,' which are set to launch later this year.
He predicted rapid growth in tokenized assets across Thailand, Singapore, and the UAE in the coming years.Srupsrisopa also stressed the importance of global regulatory standards to address legal gaps and ensure secure liquidity flows.
He advocated for making blockchain technology more accessible to the general public by eliminating technical barriers.During the WEF event, Srupsrisopa’s fourth appearance at the forum, Bitkub played a key role in promoting Thailand globally.
The company collaborated with the Thai government and major private sector firms like PTT Plc and Bangkok Bank Plc to host the 'Thailand Reception,' which showcased Thai culture and cuisine.
WEF 2025, held under the theme 'Collaboration for the Intelligent Age,' brought together leaders to discuss technological advancements shaping the global economy.
