The award was granted based on a project that allows guests to have their breakfast and other meal bookings recorded digitally on their room key cards.
This innovation enables guests to conveniently access their meals without the need for traditional paper coupons, thus significantly reducing paper use and waste generated from printed vouchers.
The digital coupon initiative is the result of collaboration among Centara's technology, operations, and customer service teams.
The implementation of this system generated approximately 10 million baht in revenue during the first four months, alongside a reduction in paper usage of up to 500,000 sheets annually.
