Direct Warsaw–Bangkok Flights Set to Transform Europe–Thailand Connectivity in 2026
LOT Polish Airlines will launch the first year-round nonstop service between Warsaw and Bangkok, linking Central Europe directly with Southeast Asia
Europe’s air connectivity with Southeast Asia is poised for a transformative shift as LOT Polish Airlines officially announced a new direct route between Warsaw and Bangkok, scheduled to commence on October 26, 2026. The year-round service will operate five times weekly, marking the first nonstop commercial flight link between Poland’s capital and Thailand’s busiest international gateway.
Under the new schedule, flight LO65 will depart Warsaw Chopin Airport in the afternoon on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with the return service, flight LO66, leaving Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport in the morning on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Scheduled flight times will be approximately ten hours and twenty minutes outbound and up to eleven hours and fifty-five minutes on the return leg, offering a competitive alternative to traditional one-stop routings via hubs in the Middle East or Western Europe.
LOT’s expansion into Southeast Asia reflects sustained demand from both leisure and business travellers for more direct access between Central Europe and Asia’s most dynamic markets.
Bangkok, Thailand’s vibrant capital and a cultural and economic hub for the region, has long been a popular destination for Polish tourists and a strategic gateway for further travel throughout Southeast Asia.
By establishing a nonstop connection, the airline aims to significantly enhance convenience and reduce travel times for passengers across Central and Eastern Europe.
The route is part of LOT’s broader long-haul growth strategy, which also includes recently announced services such as its San Francisco connection.
According to airline officials, long-distance routes remain a core pillar of LOT’s network expansion, enabling greater mobility for European travellers and deeper integration with global markets.
Thai tourism authorities have welcomed the development, with officials noting that improved air links can strengthen tourism, business engagement, and cultural exchange between the two countries.
The introduction of nonstop flights is expected to bolster Thailand’s accessibility, attract more European visitors beyond peak seasons and support broader economic ties.
With tickets now available through official sales channels, the Warsaw–Bangkok service is anticipated to become a key component of the airline’s Asian network and a milestone in evolving air travel patterns between Europe and Southeast Asia.
