Energy Minister Akanat Promphan said the four-day Gastech summit generated more than US$20 billion in commercial agreements and drew about 50,000 participants from 150 countries, while giving Thailand greater scope to negotiate long-term energy contracts and reduce exposure to volatile spot markets.
