Infineon Opens First Thailand Backend Chip Plant After 48 Billion Baht Investment

German semiconductor maker Infineon Technologies has opened its first backend manufacturing facility in Thailand following a 48 billion baht investment, expanding the country’s advanced electronics supply chain as regional demand grows for automotive and industrial chips.
