Rising higher: Origin Property announces new condo projects for 2024
Origin Property, a leading Thai property developer, embarks on a new era by relaunching its condo division as Origin Vertical, aiming for 36 billion baht in sales for the current year.
CEO Kriengkrai Kreebongkan revealed at a press event that the company’s restructuring has unified its condo offerings, construction, and marketing. This strategy enhances business adaptability and better addresses customer needs.
The company observes the condo market as stable but sluggish, predicting consistent demand focused on prime locations, service quality, and value pricing.
In line with its rebranding, Origin Vertical is set to introduce 14 new condo developments totaling 20 billion baht in 2024, with the initial five projects launching in the first semester, valued at 9.68 billion baht.
Co-CEO Apisit Soonthronchukiat noted that three of these are situated in Bangkok, close to metro lines, and two in Phuket, tapping into the rising demand for second homes driven by the booming tourism sector.
The rest, aiming for a launch in the latter half of the year, will primarily be located in Bangkok and neighboring areas, but will also target locations near industrial hubs and universities across major cities due to growing demand.
Kriengkrai assured that Origin Vertical will uphold its top-five status in the condo market by enhancing offerings and forming strategic joint ventures, tailored to their wide-ranging customer base.
Last year, Origin developed 117 projects with 56,977 units worth over 189 billion baht, with condo sales surpassing 34.7 billion baht, marking a 16% year-over-year growth.
