SC Asset to Invest B20bn in New Sectors for B10bn Revenue
SC Asset Corporation will invest 20 billion baht between 2025 and 2029 in logistics, hotels, and office rentals, aiming to generate 10 billion baht in revenue. This investment will be managed by SCX Corporation and includes developing 700,000 square meters of rental warehouses and two hotel properties in Bangkok and Pattaya. Additionally, the company will renovate six office towers with a combined lettable area of 120,000 square meters.
SC Asset Corporation, a SET-listed company, plans to invest 20 billion baht between 2025 and 2029 in logistics, hotels, and office rentals, aiming to generate 10 billion baht in revenue over the period.
This diversification into sectors with strong growth prospects is expected to provide stable income amid challenges in the residential property market.
The investments will be managed by SCX Corporation, a subsidiary, and will involve developing rental warehouses totaling 700,000 square meters in various locations, including Bang Na-Trat Road and the Eastern Economic Corridor.
Joint ventures with Tokyo Tatemono will enhance these projects.
Additionally, SCX will develop two hotel properties, Kromo, Curio Collection by Hilton in Bangkok and The Standard Pattaya Jomtien, in partnership with Daiwa House Industry and Syntec Construction, respectively.
The company also intends to invest in renovating six office towers with a combined lettable area of 120,000 square meters.
