Thailand Launches AI-Backed Lending Program for Small Merchants Using Tung Ngern Sales Data

Thailand’s Finance Ministry has introduced an AI-supported lending scheme that uses actual sales records from the Tung Ngern payment app to help small merchants, self-employed workers and SMEs qualify for formal credit with less reliance on conventional financial documentation.
