Thailand’s Ministry of Transport and the Department of Highways have confirmed progress on the high-speed rail corridor linking the Eastern Economic Corridor with major logistics hubs in northern Thailand.
The project is expected to cut cargo transit costs by around 15 percent and improve freight efficiency with neighboring landlocked countries, reinforcing Thailand’s role as a central logistics gateway in mainland Southeast Asia.
