Thailand’s Culinary Scene Soars with Full List of MICHELIN Star Winners for 2026
The MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2026 honours elite restaurants with multiple star upgrades and celebrates the nation’s expanding gastronomic excellence
The MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2026 has unveiled its full roster of starred restaurants, underscoring the country’s rising stature on the global culinary stage.
This year’s guide recognises a total of 468 establishments, among them an expanded cadre of MICHELIN Star recipients spanning three, two and one-star distinctions, reflecting both established favourites and exciting new entries.
Thailand also saw its second ever Three-MICHELIN-Star restaurant named in the latest edition.
At the pinnacle of the list, the esteemed German fine-dining restaurant Sühring was elevated to Three MICHELIN Stars, joining Sorn as only the second venue in Thailand to achieve this highest accolade.
Eight restaurants received Two MICHELIN Stars, including two that were promoted from the one-star level, demonstrating notable culinary progression.
Thirty-three restaurants earned One MICHELIN Star, with three newcomers and four promoted from the MICHELIN Selected category.
The new guide also highlights a suite of Bib Gourmand recipients, with 137 restaurants offering excellent value, and 288 MICHELIN Selected venues that showcase Thailand’s broad gastronomic diversity.
Cities such as Bangkok, Phuket and Phang-Nga feature prominently across the categories, featuring cuisines ranging from refined Thai classics to inventive contemporary and international menus.
In addition to the star distinctions, the guide presented special awards recognising exceptional individuals and teams in the Thai dining community.
These include honours for outstanding young chefs, remarkable service leadership and notable restaurant openings that have made significant cultural contributions.
