International hospitality chain Accor aims to expand its premium brands globally, particularly in Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore.
This expansion goal is driven by an anticipated rise in global travel, a growing middle class in India, and China's promising outbound market.
Chief Commercial Officer Karelle Lamouche stated that while Accor leads in mid-scale and economy brands worldwide, its premium segment, currently with 446 hotels, offers significant growth opportunities.
Key premium brands include Pullman, Mövenpick, and Grand Mercure.
Accor plans to continue growing its existing brands rather than launching new ones, focusing also on extended stays and the residential market.
