The Department of Fine Arts has recovered two ancient gold rings with Indian inscriptions at the Don Yai Thong archaeological site in Phetchaburi, providing new evidence of early maritime trade routes and cultural exchange between Thailand and India, and reinforcing the region’s historical role as a Southeast Asian crossroads.
