ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Council Advances Strategic Planning in Vientiane

High-Level Interface Shapes ASCC Post-2025 Vision
The ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Council convened a High-Level Interface in Vientiane, Lao PDR, on August 13, to further discussions on the ASCC Post-2025 Strategic Plan. Chaired by Suanesavanh Vignaket, the meeting brought together key stakeholders, including Eminent Persons, Parliamentarians, and Sectoral Ministerial Bodies, to refine the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.

The event highlighted Lao PDR's role in advancing the ASCC’s strategic measures, focusing on human and sustainable development. The Interface is expected to generate actionable insights that will shape the ASCC's Post-2025 agenda, ensuring the community remains resilient, inclusive, and adaptable to regional challenges.
