BTS Green Line and Gold Line to Extend Service Until 2 AM on January 1st
The BTS Skytrain in Bangkok will extend its service until 2am on January 1 to accommodate those participating in New Year's festivities, according to the deputy government spokesman, Kharom Polpornklang.
This extension includes the Green Line (Sukhumvit and Silom routes) and the Gold Line monorail. The last train will depart from the origin stations at 2am and from Siam station at 2:24am. Train schedules are available on THE SKYTRAIN app or at ticket counters.
Additionally, the Mo Chit BTS station parking facility will remain open 24 hours on the eve and day of New Year.
Furthermore, the Airports of Thailand (AOT) will offer free parking from December 29 to January 1 at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, and Phuket airports.
Suvarnabhumi will offer 718 spots in Zone C, and Don Mueang will provide 250 spaces in its multi-storey parking. Both airports will run free shuttle buses to their terminals. However, the Phuket Airport office parking will be free without shuttle service during this time.
