EDC Thailand Secures Long-Term Future With Insomniac’s Multi-Year Commitment and Major 2026 Expansion

After a standout debut, organisers Insomniac and Future Vibes confirm a five-year roadmap anchoring Electric Daisy Carnival in Phuket with an expanded 2026 festival experience
Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Thailand, part of the global EDC festival family, is set to return to Phuket from January sixteenth to eighteenth 2026 with an expanded production and deepening roots in Thailand’s music and tourism landscape.

Organisers Insomniac and regional partner Future Vibes have confirmed that EDC Thailand will form part of a five-year strategic plan through 2030, signalling a fixture in Asia’s live entertainment calendar rather than a one-off event.

The long-term vision aims to position Phuket as a leading destination for electronic music fans worldwide and catalyse broader cultural and economic engagement.

Building on a successful debut in January 2025, the 2026 edition will take place at Rhythm Park, Phuket, and promises “Bigger, Brighter, and More Immersive” experiences with full-scale EDC Las Vegas production elements, including iconic stages like kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS and stereoBLOOM, alongside new creative zones such as Downtown EDC and Binary Beach.

Festival organisers have cited goals of integrating local Thai culture, boosting sustainability initiatives and fostering community involvement through waste-reduction programs and partnerships with local stakeholders.

The broader strategic partnership between Insomniac and Future Vibes aims to drive significant tourism and economic impact for Thailand, projecting over twelve point five billion baht in value and attracting hundreds of thousands of international visitors over the five-year period.

The 2025 debut alone drew more than fifty thousand foreign visitors, solidifying demand and underscoring Thailand’s appeal as a global festival hub.

The festival’s official lineup for 2026 includes international headliners such as Zedd, deadmau5, GRiZ and other major electronic artists, drawing a blend of genre-spanning talent that reflects EDC’s global roster.

With tickets already on sale and excitement building among fans, EDC Thailand’s expanded return underscores Thailand’s growing prominence in the international live music scene and reinforces Phuket’s role as a vibrant destination for cultural tourism and large-scale events.

The long-term commitment signals confidence from global promoters in the country’s capacity to host world-class entertainment experiences well into the decade ahead.
