Louis Vuitton Introduces Exclusive Store Experience in Bangkok
Louis Vuitton (LV) has launched a unique store called The Place Bangkok at the Gaysorn Amarin retail complex, offering an immersive luxury experience to the city's residents.
The two-story venue boasts an enchanting, dreamy ambiance accentuated by radiant, oversized diamond shapes that illuminate the space at night.
Combining shopping, dining, and cultural elements, the store signals a new era for LV's future retail concepts with its all-encompassing 360 design approach.
The ground floor features an array of themed rooms designed by the acclaimed architecture firm OMA and its partner Shohei Shigematsu. These spaces offer dynamic environments that showcase both historical and modern items from LV.
Highlights include "Trunkscape," a tunnel-like structure made from 96 trunk modules revealing LV's craftsmanship, and "Iconic Bags," a tribute to 25 years of fashion showcased through five emblematic bag designs updated by various artistic directors. Additionally, a "Giveaway Room" presents an element of surprise where visitors can win unique souvenirs.
On the same floor, a cafe offers a serene setting infused with botanical motifs and LV's signature elegance. Guests can indulge in a selection of delicious pastries, each adorned with the iconic LV touch, and a local favorite, Mango Sticky Rice Fizz—a refreshing concoction of mango and sticky rice syrup mixed with tonic water.
The upper level extends the luxury experience with retro furniture and vivid art. Exclusive items like the Alma Nano Rainbow, the women's Cruise 2024 T-shirt, and a men's LV Trainer Upcycling sneaker are only available at this location.
Furthermore, acclaimed Indian chef Gaggan Anand has created the brand's first South Asian restaurant, offering a "food journey" available at both lunch and dinner.
The decadent fine dining establishment features Italian marble tables and serves a seasonal menu reflecting five taste sensations—sweet, sour, salty, spicy, and a surprise element.
LV The Place Bangkok is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm, while the restaurant operates from noon until 11 pm but is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
