After handling a record ten point two million cargo containers last fiscal year, the Port Authority of Thailand is exploring further expansion of the Laem Chabang deep seaport in the Eastern Economic Corridor. The infrastructure upgrade aims to support a surge in exports of electric vehicles, electronics, and advanced machinery linked to the global Artificial Intelligence sector.
