Thailand’s Meteorological Department has warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall through July 3 as a strengthened southwest monsoon and monsoon trough move across the north and northeast, raising the risk of flash floods and forest runoff in vulnerable areas while rough seas of up to three metres threaten conditions in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
