Government and private partners advance plans for the inaugural Tomorrowland Thailand in 2026, aiming to generate substantial tourism revenue and global visibility
Thailand is preparing to host the first Asian edition of the world-renowned Tomorrowland electronic music festival, marking a strategic initiative to elevate the kingdom’s profile as a global events and tourism destination.
Government officials confirmed that ticket sales for Tomorrowland Thailand will open on March seventh, with the festival scheduled to run from December eleventh to thirteenth, two thousand twenty-six at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya, Chonburi province.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand and private partners, in collaboration with the Belgium-based Tomorrowland team, anticipate drawing tens of thousands of visitors per day, with over sixty per cent expected to travel from overseas, and projecting more than five billion baht in direct local economic impact from the event’s first edition alone.
Authorities have highlighted that the festival’s presence will not only stimulate tourism but also bolster related sectors such as hospitality, transport and local services, while reinforcing Thailand’s reputation as a premier host for international cultural events.
The Board of Investment has granted promotion incentives to the Thai-Belgian joint venture developing the festival, with broader projections suggesting that over the first five years, Tomorrowland Thailand could create upward of twenty-one billion baht in cumulative economic value as well as knowledge transfer through initiatives like the Tomorrowland Academy to enhance Thai event management and creative capabilities.
Government leaders have underscored the long-term benefits of hosting Tomorrowland, describing it as a catalyst for sustained tourism growth and economic diversification, aligning with national strategies to attract high-value global visitors and showcase Thailand’s cultural and logistical strengths on the world stage.
