Thailand to Host a Historic Marriage Equality Celebration on Valentine's Day
The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi to Offer Marriage Registration and Special Offers for All Couples
Bangkok, Thailand — On February 14, 2025, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi will hold a significant event to celebrate marriage equality in Thailand.
In collaboration with the Bangkapi District Office, the venue will host marriage registrations for couples of all genders.
This initiative forms part of the 'THE MALL LOVE STORE' campaign designed to honor love in its diverse forms.
The event follows the landmark introduction of equal marriage registration in Thailand, a development marked by an initial ceremony on January 23, 2025, at the same location.
The ceremony, organized in partnership with the Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand, saw twelve couples publicly commit to each other, many sharing love affirmations built over more than a decade.
The Mall Group Co., Ltd., represented by Chief Marketing Officer Ms. Voralak Tulaphorn, expressed dedication to inclusivity and support for LGBTQIAN+ rights.
Ms. Voralak stated, 'The Mall Group is proud to be at the forefront of celebrations that recognize love's many forms.
Our Valentine's Day campaign this year underscores our commitment as an LGBTQIAN+ friendly establishment, and we are honored to work with local and national organizations to make this possible.'
Couples participating in the Valentine's Day event will enjoy various exclusive privileges, including vouchers worth 1,000 THB from selected restaurants for the first 50 M CARD member couples, 10,000 M POINTS per couple, complimentary movie tickets from Bangkapi Cineplex, and access to a specially designed romantic photo corner.
