Twenty-Seven Killed in Bangkok Chatuchak Pub Fire as Authorities Order Citywide Safety Inspections

A late-night fire at an entertainment venue in Bangkok's Chatuchak district killed twenty-seven people and injured more than sixty, prompting Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to establish a disaster support centre and order urgent inspections of commercial buildings, emergency exits and evacuation procedures across the capital.
