In a show of solidarity and support, Lao President Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith has pledged full backing for Cambodia's ambitious Funan Techo Canal Project during high-level meetings with Cambodian leaders. The project, aimed at creating a direct sea route for Cambodia, received resounding affirmation from President Sisoulith, emphasizing the enduring friendship between the two nations.
During discussions with Senate President Hun Sen, President Sisoulith expressed Laos' support for the canal initiative, highlighting its potential to significantly enhance Cambodia's transport and investment sectors.
