Speaking at the Bangkok Post Women Vision Forum 2024, she emphasized the importance of self-awareness, teamwork, and empathy, particularly for female leaders.

Despite her non-hospitality background, having spent 23 years at IBM and leading Thaicom, Suthumpun successfully transitioned to the CEO role at Dusit Thani Group in 2016, making her the first non-family member to lead the company.

Under her leadership, the group diversified its portfolio beyond hotels, expanded globally across 19 countries with over 300 properties, and grew to 20,000 employees.

Dusit Thani, celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, looks forward to the reopening of its flagship Bangkok hotel after extensive renovations.
