Featuring Lalisa's Electrifying Performance at Iconsiam's New Year Celebration
Iconsiam is gearing up to host the 'Amazing Thailand Countdown 2025', headlined by renowned singer and dancer Lalisa Manobal on New Year's Eve.
The event, scheduled from December 29 to 31, is organized in collaboration with public and private sectors.
Supoj Chaiwatsirikul, managing director of Iconsiam Co Ltd, revealed the company invested hundreds of millions of baht in the celebration.
Apart from Lalisa, the lineup includes over 60 Thai and international artists such as BUS: Because of You I Shine, 4EVE, Jeff Satur, Milli, NONT TANONT, PP-Billkin, PROXIE, and Zee NuNew.
Highlighting environmental consciousness, the event will feature eco-friendly fireworks spanning over 1,400 meters along the Chao Phraya River.
This display will emphasize the theme 'Celebrating the Everlasting Legacy of Siam', celebrating Thailand's cultural heritage.
The event will be broadcast live on Thairath TV 32HD, ONE31, GMM25, TNN16, and via Facebook Live on Khao Sod, Matichon, and PPTV HD 36, aiming to attract over 30 million viewers globally.
According to Supoj, this festival should boost local business activity, with a substantial increase predicted in hotel bookings and river traffic.
The Peninsula Hotel reports an occupancy rate of up to 95%.
Parinya Ruckwatin, chairman of the Chao Phraya River Tourism Association, projects a 75% revenue increase for riverside businesses during the festive period, with over 100% growth expected on countdown night.
Similarly, Apichart Patcharapinyopong of the Thai Boats Association anticipates a 30% rise in river traffic, generating over 40 million baht for ferry operators.
To accommodate the influx, ferry services will extend operations until 3am on New Year's Eve.
