Jantsuda Thananitayodom has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Grab Thailand, marking a significant leadership transition within the company.
This move aligns with the company's long-term succession plan, which emphasizes nurturing new executives with relevant experience and capabilities in managing digital businesses.
In her new role, Jantsuda is set to lead the management team in driving the organization's growth strategies across four core business areas: Mobility, Deliveries, Financial Services, and Enterprise Solutions.
She will also continue the mission of 'GrabForGood', which aims to leverage technology and digital platforms to enhance quality of life and create positive societal and environmental changes.
Jantsuda’s commitment focuses on strengthening Grab's position as a leading platform in Thailand, particularly in ride-hailing and food delivery services.
She aims to maintain ecosystem balance by considering the welfare of all stakeholders, including drivers and merchant partners, while promoting sustainability through three primary pillars: business, society, and the environment.
Jantsuda joined Grab in 2018 as the Marketing Director for Grab Thailand.
She was responsible for strategic marketing and brand communications, playing a pivotal role in establishing the GrabFood brand as a market leader, garnering the title of No.1 Brand in Thailand for five consecutive years.
Her extensive business acumen and demonstrated successes led to her progressive expansion of responsibilities over the years.
Notable achievements include managing business partnerships in 2021 to explore new collaborative business opportunities, expanding the GrabMart service in 2022, and overseeing commercial operations in 2023 to foster growth in both consumer (B2C) and client (B2B) sectors.
Most recently, in 2024, she took charge of the financial services sector.
Before her tenure at Grab, Jantsuda had a distinguished career in marketing and e-commerce at Unilever, a global leader in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
She held key positions, such as Head of E-commerce for Unilever Thailand and Head of Marketing for Unilever Laos, where she was instrumental in establishing strategic policies for brand growth.
Additionally, she previously worked as a brand manager for Unilever's ice cream division, contributing to the success of the Cornetto brand in Thailand.
