Filming has concluded in Thailand on the action-thriller Blood and Dust, featuring Golden Globe-winning actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Thai star Praya Lundberg in leading roles. The production wrapped principal photography after an intensive shoot across locations intended to capture both urban and rural backdrops that reflect the film’s gritty Southeast Asian narrative.

Directed, written and produced by Adam Sherman, the movie’s storyline follows a hardened mercenary hitman, portrayed by Rhys Meyers, who becomes embroiled in a violent pursuit after helping an abused nightclub owner’s wife and her young daughter flee a ruthless criminal underworld. The narrative promises intense action sequences spanning highways, jungles and coastal terrain, with Thailand’s diverse landscapes providing a vivid setting. 

Praya Lundberg, known for her work in international productions including acclaimed television series, stars opposite Rhys Meyers. The ensemble cast also includes Timothy V. Murphy, Lochlyn Munro, Tayme Thapthimthong and Florence Faivre, bringing together talent from multiple film markets. The production has highlighted its collaborative spirit and praised the professionalism of the Thai crew.
