Nasatta Light Festival Opens in Ratchaburi with ‘Fairy Dreams’ Theme
Thailand’s Nasatta Park launches winter illumination extravaganza running from 21 Nov 2025 to 3 May 2026
The annual illumination spectacle at Nasatta Park in Ratchaburi province kicked off on 21 November 2025, ushering in the festival’s eighth edition under the theme “Fairy Dreams”.
The event transforms the forested 30-rai site into a luminous wonderland, with thousands of LED installations illuminating the grounds from 18:00 to 22:00.
Visitors can explore 24 specially crafted zones, including interactive “Breath of Light” tunnels, floating lantern displays inspired by Loy Krathong, and sculptural floral installations that reimagine Thai mythology and regional heritage.
Early-bird ticket offers are available, and admission is free for children under 90 cm in height.
As one of the region’s most immersive light festivals, the event blends cultural workshops, local cuisine and immersive art installations.
Organisers emphasise sustainable design through the reuse and repurposing of materials, and encourage visitors to rent traditional Thai costumes for a deeper cultural photo-experience.
Located approximately two hours from Bangkok’s main airport, the festival is seen as part of Thailand’s broader push to expand experiential tourism outside the conventional beach and temple segments.
One local tourism official said the event aimed to “invite visitors to linger longer, to explore Ratchaburi beyond a day-trip.”
The festival runs every Tuesday through Sunday and on public holidays until 3 May 2026. Practically speaking, the peak hours run from around 18:00 when the lights activate through the 22:00 closing time, though daytime access allows for workshops and costume rentals.
Tickets are available online for early-birds and at the gate, and festival-goers are encouraged to arrive before 18:00 to fully engage in the creative installations, shops and food huts.
For travellers seeking a blend of theatrical lighting, cultural immersion and rural Thai landscapes, this year’s festival offers a compelling choice heading into the low-season travel months.
