POP MART Unveils Thailand’s Largest Festive Pop-Up With Grand ‘POP LAND’ Experience in Bangkok

Bangkok’s Siam Paragon and Siam Center transform into a 1,000-square-meter art-toy wonderland as Thailand positions itself as a rising global hub of pop culture
A new landmark in Thailand’s cultural landscape has arrived with the debut of POP MART’s “POP LAND Exclusive Festive Event in Thailand,” an immersive large-scale pop-up that officially opened across Siam Paragon and Siam Center.

Spanning more than 1,000 square meters, the event marks POP MART’s biggest outdoor installation worldwide and places Bangkok at the center of an expanding global pop-art phenomenon.

Led by Siriporn Phlaengchanthuek, Country General Manager of POP MART Thailand, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Siam Paragon management, the launch brought together prominent local personalities whose presence underscored the country’s growing influence in regional entertainment.

The initiative reinforces Thailand’s highly effective soft-power approach—using creativity, design and pop culture to strengthen its global cultural footprint.

At the heart of the event is POP LAND CASTLE, a visually striking zone anchored by a five-meter-tall figure of MOKOKO, POP MART’s newest character known for its fluffy pink silhouette and themes of warmth, love and innocence.

Surrounding MOKOKO are giant sculptures of fan-favorite characters such as MOLLY, SKULLPANDA and HIRONO, creating a maze-like playground designed for exploration, photography and interaction with global pop-art icons.

Across five themed zones, visitors travel through dreamlike environments including POP LAND CASCADE, a whimsical tunnel connecting Siam Paragon to Parc Paragon; POP LAND CHRISTMAS TREE, the country’s first POP MART-themed holiday installation; and POP SLIDE: Finding MOKOKO, an expansive pink ball pit encouraging family-friendly play.

The event also introduces POPSICLE, a café concept exclusive to Thailand, serving character-themed desserts and tropical reinterpretations of signature flavors.

Originating in Beijing in 2023, the POP LAND concept was designed to capture feelings of childhood wonder and everyday joy.

The Bangkok edition adds a uniquely Thai dimension, blending the country’s vibrant pop-culture identity with internationally recognized art-toy design.

Exclusive collections—including the MOKOKO Sweetheart Series, Twinkly Fairy Tale Series and Spring Flower Series—are available in limited quantities, catering to collectors and drawing significant early demand.

The installation’s scale and ambition reflect Thailand’s growing role as a global creative destination, especially as the event aligns with the nation’s wider strategy to elevate cultural tourism.

With numerous activities scheduled through the festive season, POP LAND is positioned to attract both local residents and international visitors seeking immersive holiday experiences in Bangkok.

Running from November 11, 2025, to January 11, 2026, the event has been framed as a celebration not only of art-toy culture but also of Thailand’s strengthening soft-power credentials—an increasingly important pillar in the country’s cultural and tourism development strategy.
