PTG Energy, a prominent Thai oil retailer, announced plans for a significant investment of 6-7 billion baht in 2025 to expand its operations.
This investment includes adding 60 new petrol stations and renovating 100 existing ones, as well as growing its Punthai Coffee brand.
PTG aims to increase the number of Punthai coffee shops from 1,020 to 1,300 by the end of the year, with plans to add 1,000 more next year.
The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Royal Forest Department, Mae Fah Luang Foundation, and the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives to secure a sustainable supply of coffee beans.
This initiative supports northern Thai farmers and promotes coffee plantations as an alternative to monoculture crops.
PTG's growth strategy is expected to drive double-digit revenue growth in 2025, aided by its membership program, PT Max Card, which has 23 million members.
