Thailand Launches 'Araya The Eastern Gateway' to Boost Industrial Tech Ecosystem
A new industrial city in Samut Prakan aims to create an innovation hub for advanced technology, logistics, and international trade.
Thailand has commenced development of a new industrial city, Araya The Eastern Gateway, located at kilometer thirty-two on Bang Na-Trat Road in Samut Prakan province.
The project covers four thousand six hundred rai, or seven hundred thirty-six hectares, and is being developed by Araya Land Development, a joint venture between Frasers Property Thailand, Rojana Industrial Park, and Asia Industrial Estate.
The city will feature an industrial estate for entrepreneurs, a campus dedicated to industrial and technology development, a logistic park for product distribution, a lifestyle and amenity zone, and a residential area.
Its strategic location near Suvarnabhumi Airport, the Eastern Economic Corridor, and Laem Chabang Port positions it as a potential hub for business, logistics, industry, and international trade.
Kamonkarn Kongkathong, managing director of Araya Land Development, stated that the project is designed to foster an ecosystem of industrial innovation, advanced technology, and logistics, attracting investments in sectors such as semiconductors, electronics, electric vehicles, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and data centres.
