Thailand Mobilises Global Celebrities Including BLACKPINK’s Lisa to Amplify Tourism in 2026
The Tourism Authority of Thailand launches an expansive campaign with international stars and creators to deepen Thailand’s global travel appeal
Thailand’s tourism sector has embarked on a high-profile global campaign that enlists an array of celebrated figures, including international and Thai celebrities, to strengthen the country’s image as a quality travel destination and attract visitors from key markets.
At the centre of the initiative is Lalisa “Lisa” Manoban of BLACKPINK, who has been appointed as the Amazing Thailand Ambassador for 2026 under the new “Feel All The Feelings” campaign, unveiled at a special event at Wat Arun in Bangkok.
The campaign emphasises Thailand’s emotional richness and cultural depth, seeking to convey the country’s charm beyond traditional attractions through storytelling and immersive experiences.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is activating its Thailand Co-Creator programme, deploying more than twenty creators, influencers and celebrities from Thailand and key short-haul markets including China, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Republic of Korea and India.
These personalities are participating in curated journeys across diverse Thai regions designed to showcase the kingdom’s natural wonders, heritage, wellness offerings and community-centred experiences.
The content generated will be disseminated globally via digital and social platforms throughout February 2026, with TAT projecting no fewer than one hundred million impressions worldwide.
The “Feel All The Feelings” campaign narrative, articulated through a series of advertising films and on-the-ground creator visits, aims to reposition Thailand as a high-quality leisure destination under the broader Trusted Thailand initiative, which emphasises safety, service excellence and memorable visitor experiences.
Thailand’s tourism leadership has said that highlighting emotional and meaningful travel moments — from natural landscapes to cultural encounters — will help deepen traveller engagement and inspire repeat visits.
The involvement of Lisa, one of the world’s most recognisable entertainment figures with an immense global following, is expected to further elevate Thailand’s international visibility and appeal.
Observers note that this celebrity-led approach builds on a growing trend of destination marketing that leverages iconic personalities to encapsulate national identity and connect with travel audiences in nuanced, emotionally resonant ways.
