Cross-border and transit exports were valued at 534.3 billion baht, a 3.1% rise, while imports stood at about 188 billion baht.
Trade with neighboring countries contributed significantly, with Laos at 150.6 billion baht, Malaysia 149.3 billion baht, Myanmar 106.6 billion baht, and Cambodia 86.7 billion baht.
Transit trade to third countries, including China (highest at 244 billion baht), Singapore (53 billion baht), and Vietnam (36 billion baht), totaled 418.8 billion baht, up 4.8%.
Prominent exports include fresh durian (67 billion baht), hard-disk drives (40.9 billion baht), and block rubber (19.5 billion baht).
Further promotion efforts include a border trade fair in Songkhla featuring trade shows, seminars, and online business matching, organized by the Department of Internal Trade and other financial institutions.
