13 Airlines to Serve Krabi Airport During High Season
Thirteen airlines have applied to operate flights to Krabi International Airport in southern Thailand during the 2024-25 winter high season. Regular flights will be provided by ten airlines, including Flydubai and Thai AirAsia. Three airlines will operate international chartered flights, and over 160 more flights per week are expected.
Thirteen airlines have applied to operate flights to Krabi International Airport in southern Thailand for the 2024-25 winter season, the high tourism period, as per the announcement by the Transport Ministry on Saturday.
Ten airlines will run regular flights to the resort town on the Andaman Sea, including Flydubai, Scoot Tigerair, LOT Polish Airlines, TUI Fly, Jetstar Asia Airways, Thai AirAsia, AirAsia Berhad, Bangkok Airways, Shanghai Airlines, and China Eastern Airlines.
Three airlines, TUI Fly, LOT Polish Airlines, and Neos Airlines, will provide international chartered flights.
Additionally, Eastar Jet and Spring Airlines have sought information to finalize their flight plans.
The ministry forecasts over 160 additional flights per week.
Transport Minister Suriya Jungrungreangkit has directed the Department of Airports to ensure adequate staffing and proper maintenance of airport facilities.
Public relations will be bolstered to educate passengers on the common-use passenger processing system (CUPPS) to minimize terminal congestion.
