Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 Launches to Elevate Visitor Experience and Reinforce Thailand’s Status as Asia’s Premier Tourism Hub

New campaign combines world-class hospitality, cultural depth, and exclusive rewards to attract millions of global visitors and boost Thailand’s tourism economy.
Thailand has once again demonstrated why it remains one of the world’s most beloved travel destinations with the launch of the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign.

Led by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, and supported by major public and private sector partners, the initiative offers an impressive range of exclusive benefits for international travellers – from deep discounts and personalized privileges to authentic souvenirs and major travel rewards – all designed to enhance the visitor experience and showcase the unmatched appeal of the Kingdom.

The campaign is a core part of the government’s “Big Impact, Act Fast” strategy to stimulate travel spending and reinforce Thailand’s position as a global tourism powerhouse during the peak year-end season.

Presiding over the launch, TAT Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, Mr. Nat Kruthasoot, emphasized that this year’s edition goes beyond traditional promotion.

“Our goal is to inspire travellers, enrich their experiences, and ensure that the tourism sector continues its strong recovery trajectory,” he said.

Running from November to December 2025 as part of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year, the programme highlights the celebrated “5 Grands” – Grand Moment, Grand Privilege, Grand Invitation, Grand Festivity, and Grand Celebration – which together reflect Thailand’s diverse tourism offering.

These are tied to the nation’s iconic “5 Must Do” experiences: Must Taste Thai cuisine, Must Try Muay Thai, Must Buy Thai fashion and textiles, Must Seek new destinations and stories, and Must See cultural performances and festivals.

Each element is carefully curated to immerse visitors in the essence of Thai culture, creativity, and hospitality.

Two flagship initiatives define the campaign.

The first is a nationwide sales promotion, featuring exclusive offers from over 300 leading hotels, restaurants, retailers, and tour operators.

This wide-ranging collaboration ensures that visitors enjoy premium experiences while supporting local businesses and communities.

The second is the highly anticipated “Amazing Bag” giveaway, where travellers presenting their passports at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, or Phuket International Airports between 1 November and 15 December can receive community-crafted souvenirs and enter a lucky draw for travel vouchers worth over one million Baht.

The initiative, supported by Airports of Thailand for the second consecutive year, is designed to leave travellers with a tangible memory of Thai warmth and hospitality.

Industry leaders have welcomed the programme as a demonstration of Thailand’s unity and innovation in tourism promotion.

Mr. Bhummikitti Ruktaengam, Vice President of the Tourism Council of Thailand, noted that the enthusiastic participation of businesses nationwide shows “Thailand’s unwavering commitment to sharing its culture, products, and services with the world”.

TAT forecasts that the campaign will generate at least 400 million Baht in tourism revenue, contributing significantly to the national economy and creating widespread benefits across sectors.

It is also expected to strengthen Thailand’s reputation as Southeast Asia’s premier destination for culture, leisure, sports, and luxury travel.

Looking outward, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports is intensifying promotional campaigns across seven key international markets – including China, Japan, South Korea, India, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates – with a goal of welcoming two to three million Chinese visitors by year’s end.

Preparations are also underway to ensure seamless hospitality and travel infrastructure during Thailand’s high season, including coordinated efforts for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in December.

The Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign reflects the nation’s broader vision: to not only welcome visitors but to immerse them in the depth, warmth, and creativity that make Thailand unique.

With its signature blend of tradition and innovation, the Kingdom continues to set the standard for tourism excellence – proving once again why “Amazing Thailand” is more than a slogan; it is a promise delivered to millions around the world.
