Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives Opens as Fourth Property in the Maldives

The luxury resort offers exclusive opening deals and a range of accommodations to cater to diverse travelers.
Centara Hotels and Resorts has officially opened its newest luxury accommodation, the Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives, on a picturesque island in the Maldives, set to welcome guests in April 2025. To mark this milestone, the resort is launching special introductory offers that include packages such as 'Stay 4 Nights, Pay for 3' and 'Stay 7 Nights, Pay for 5', alongside complimentary upgrades for dining and various additional privileges.

Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives becomes the fourth property for the Centara brand in the Maldives, with each of the four resorts offering distinct experiences tailored to meet the needs of various traveler demographics.

The new resort features a total of 142 spacious rooms, available in beach and overwater villa styles, and is equipped with extensive facilities, including diverse international dining options and the Centara’s signature wellness spa, Cenvaree.

The opening of Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives complements the overall development project of the Centara brand on Male Atoll, an area known for its remarkable beauty.

This official opening follows the earlier launch of Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives, located on the same island.

Andrew Jansen, General Manager of both Centara Grand Lagoon and Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming the first guests and emphasized the resort’s commitment to creating a haven of relaxation that combines beautiful natural surroundings with Thai hospitality and the charming allure of the Maldives.

He noted that the goal is to provide memorable experiences for all visitors.

To celebrate the launch of Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives, the resort is offering several special deals for early bookings.

These include the aforementioned stay packages, a welcome champagne service at the Sunset Social Bar, a complimentary couples spa treatment, club access privileges, and exciting marine activities.

Guests can choose from options like a night fishing trip or a dolphin cruise at sunset.

This special introductory offer is available for bookings made from now until June 30, 2025, for stays from April 1, 2025, to October 15, 2025.
