Grab, a prominent superapp in Southeast Asia, has appointed Chantsuda Thananitayaudom as the new Country Head of Grab Thailand, effective April 1, 2025. This announcement was made on February 13, 2025, and marks a significant transition in the company's leadership structure, with Chantsuda succeeding Worachat Luxkanalode, who is departing to explore other career opportunities.
The leadership change aligns with Grab's established succession plan which emphasizes the importance of fostering local talent within its digital business framework.
In her new role, Chantsuda will oversee Grab Thailand’s strategic direction across various business sectors, including mobility, deliveries, financial services, and enterprise solutions.
She is also expected to enhance the company's GrabForGood mission, which focuses on leveraging technology for social and environmental improvements.
Chantsuda aims to strengthen Grab's market position and promote a sustainable ecosystem beneficial to all stakeholders, including drivers and merchant partners.
Chantsuda has been with Grab since 2018, initially serving as the Country Marketing Head for Grab Thailand.
In this capacity, she was instrumental in formulating strategic marketing initiatives and enhancing brand presence.
Her notable achievements include establishing GrabFood as a leading brand and earning the No.1 Brand Thailand award for five consecutive years.
Chantsuda's career at Grab has seen her take on progressively larger roles, including leading partnerships to unlock growth opportunities with strategic allies, expanding GrabMart services, and overseeing commercial operations to drive both B2C and B2B business growth.
Before her tenure at Grab, Chantsuda held several senior leadership positions in marketing and e-commerce at Unilever, a major player in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
She worked as the Head of E-Commerce for Unilever Thailand and Head of Marketing for Unilever Laos, where she was key in developing strategic initiatives and enhancing brand performance.
As a Brand Manager for Unilever’s ice-cream segment, she significantly contributed to the success of the Cornetto brand in Thailand.
