Pattaya International Kite Festival 2025 Boosts Tourism and Local Economy
The Pattaya International Kite on the Beach 2025 took place from February 26 to March 2 along Pattaya Beach, showcasing a vibrant array of kites from eleven countries. The annual event features international kite displays, attracting visitors and stimulating economic growth.
This annual festival featured 150 colorful kites, including 12-meter character kites of Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and Woodstock, marking their first appearance in Pattaya.
The event was organized by the Pattaya City Administration in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand's Pattaya Office and Central Pattaya shopping mall.
It aimed to promote tourism and stimulate the local economy by attracting both domestic and international visitors.
The festival also included sport kite shows, photo opportunities, and a Kite Food Market with over 50 street food vendors.
This year's festival is expected to have a positive impact on Pattaya's tourism sector, contributing to the city's economic growth.
