The Royal Thai Army’s Veterinary & Remount Department has announced an auction to rehome 64 dogs that did not meet the criteria to become service dogs.
This event will take place on November 16, 2024, at the Military Dog Centre in Pak Chong district, Nakhon Ratchasima.
The dogs include German Shepherds (nine males and 16 females) and Belgian Malinois (23 males and 16 females), all aged between 2.9 and 3.3 years.
These dogs were trained but could not meet military standards due to reasons such as being too friendly or having weight issues.
Prospective adopters need to bring a copy of their ID card and photographs of the environment where the dog will be housed.
