Sansiri Unveils 'Dynamic Growth' Strategy for 2025 Amid Market Challenges
The leading property developer targets 53 billion baht in sales, plans 29 new projects, and expands its land bank while forging joint ventures and green initiatives.
Thailand’s leading property developer Sansiri announced its 'Dynamic Growth' strategy for 2025 during a press conference on Wednesday.
Marking its 20th anniversary, the company has set a sales target of 53 billion baht and a property transfer target of 46 billion baht.
As part of its expansion plan, Sansiri will launch 29 new projects—14 low-rise housing developments and 15 high-rise condominium projects—with a total value of 52 billion baht.
The new projects will be primarily concentrated in inner Bangkok and along the Skytrain network, with supportive government measures such as the proposed 20 baht flat fare train scheme aimed at boosting demand for city centre condominiums.
Sansiri currently holds a land bank valued at over 7 billion baht and is allocating an additional 2 billion baht for land acquisition in 2025, with a focus on strategic locations such as Phuket, where demand from foreign buyers for second homes and holiday properties is strong.
In addition to its core focus on affordable housing, with an average property price of around 2 million baht, the company is diversifying into sectors including entertainment, community malls, and health and wellness to build recurring income streams.
Joint ventures form a key component of the strategy, with Sansiri already partnering with two Japanese investment firms and two Thai companies, and discussions underway with potential new partners.
Sansiri’s strategy is underpinned by several key drivers, including expanding luxury and premium housing in high-potential locations, accelerating new condominium launches in Bangkok, further expansion in Phuket, and a commitment to green initiatives.
The company aims to reduce energy consumption in its luxury and premium projects by 50 percent and is increasing its investment in research and development for green products.
Sansiri also reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility, emphasizing initiatives that promote equality, diversity, inclusion, education, and community development.
The 'Dynamic Growth' strategy comes as the Thai property market faces ongoing challenges, yet the company remains focused on leveraging factors such as a recovering economy, increased foreign investment, and a thriving tourism sector to drive sustainable and stable growth.
