Thai Students Shine at World Invention Creativity Olympics 2024
Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School’s Innovation Centre triumphed at the 13th 2024 World Invention Creativity Olympics in Seoul. The school won the grand prize, 3 special awards on stage, 2 special awards and 13 gold medals for innovative projects including a customisable multi-scented inhaler and an eco-friendly portable litter box.
The Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School’s Innovation Centre excelled at the 13th 2024 World Invention Creativity Olympics & Conference, organized by the Korea University Invention Association (KUIA) and the World Invention Intellectual Property Association (WIIPA) at Seoul University of Education Convention Hall.
Out of 13 teacher and student project submissions, the school won the grand prize, 3 special awards on stage, 2 special awards, and 13 gold medals.
'Pinto Scent,' a customisable multi-scented inhaler by Avika Klaisang and advisor Jirasak Jitrojanarak, secured the Grand Prize and a gold medal.
Other notable projects include 'Kitty Go' by Robert Armstrong, 'WASEN' by Piriya and Pirada Wongpiwat, 'NCDs Free Analysis' by Narapat Hengkanakai, 'BERD' by Thipok Tangsiriphat, 'Yummy Move' by Sorakit Thanyawan, and several others, all winning gold medals and special awards.
