The Dusit Thani Bangkok Reopens After Landmark Transformation

Dusit Thani Bangkok, the flagship hotel of Dusit International, has made a highly anticipated return following a remarkable transformation. Now part of the prestigious Dusit Central Park project, the hotel is beautifully positioned opposite Lumpini Park, offering a luxurious retreat in the heart of the city.
The grand reopening, held on 27 September 2024, was celebrated with a special ceremony where Mr. Chanin Donavanik, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Committee, Dusit International, had the honour of being the first guest to check-in. This symbolic gesture paid tribute to his mother’s vision, who originally launched the hotel in 1970, marking a significant moment in Thai hospitality.

Guests from around the world gathered to experience the exquisitely designed Suites and Club Rooms, where expansive picture-frame windows provide breathtaking views of Lumpini Park, ensuring an unmatched stay in Bangkok.

The hotel also unveiled its grand event spaces, including the impressive Napalai Grand Ballroom, one of Bangkok’s largest, boasting a soaring eight-metre-high ceiling and a 55-metre-wide panoramic window. The ballroom offers a stunning backdrop of park and cityscape views, ideal for hosting memorable events.

Dining at the new Dusit Thani Bangkok is a culinary journey in itself. The Pavilion offers an array of Thai, Chinese, and international delights, while Dusit Gourmet presents artisanal bites from an open kitchen. In the coming months, four additional dining concepts will launch, including collaborations with renowned chefs and a chic rooftop bar alongside the hotel’s iconic spire.

Devarana Wellness, a unique urban wellness sanctuary, will also open soon, offering bespoke wellness experiences for guests, visitors, and locals, ensuring every stay is a rejuvenating escape.

“Just as my mother envisioned the original Dusit Thani Bangkok as a beacon of Thai hospitality, the newly transformed Dusit Thani Bangkok aims to elevate that legacy,” said Mr. Donavanik. “This reopening marks a new chapter for Dusit and a new era for Thai hospitality. We look forward to welcoming our guests to experience the extraordinary blend of heritage, tradition, and innovation that sets a new standard for luxury in Bangkok.”

The hotel is the centrepiece of the Dusit Central Park development, a THB 46 billion mixed-use project that includes ultra-luxury residences, a state-of-the-art office tower, a high-end retail centre, and a spectacular 11,200 sq m Roof Park, set to open progressively through 2025.

Exclusive opening offers, including complimentary airport limousine service in a Porsche Panamera Executive—the first of its kind in Thailand—are now available for booking at dusit.com/bangkok.
